AEI offers 3rd Party HP-UX (PA-RISK)
Ethernet NIC Solutions
AEI of Temecula, CA is very proud to announce,
as of June 10th, the Company is an HP Developer & Solution
Partner.
As a result of this strategic alliance, all
AEI's products are displayed in the HP DSPP Product Catalog.
This alliance will grant AEI access to future product
development and enhancements by HP on their PA-RISK platform

many of its competitors. And finally, from a marketing

AEI is the first and only 3rd Party vendor
offering single, dual and Quad PCI 10/100 Ethernet adapters
with HP-UX 10.2, 11.0, and 11i device drivers, as well as
single and dual channel Gigabit PCI cards with 11.0 and 11i
drivers.
All AEI Ethernet cards for the HP-UX platform
will soon come with PhobosLink™
Network Management Software at no additional expense.
Says Jim Strachan, President & CFO, "Shortly, we'll
be able to offer HP-UX users the capability to Trunk
individual Ethernet channels (including multiple AEI Ethernet
cards) based on port (AKA Link), Layer-3, or Layer-4 protocol
criteria. PhobosLink also provides for Active Port
Failover (in milliseconds); and Adaptive or Dynamic Load
Balancing providing users with a fault tolerant, highly
reliable solution for HP-UX servers." In fact,
Phobos is the only manufacturer offering such robust advanced
server features.
As a 3rd Party alternative, AEI prices for
their Network Interface Cards are very competitive in the UNIX
market. Especially when compared to HP branded Ethernet
cards supporting the HP-UX operating environment.
Savings can well exceed up to $1,000 per card.
